Elvie Loon is the Associate Business Director of Listing Division in Malaysia.

She started her career at MIMS in 2014 as a Business Manager and have since grown within the company, advancing from Senior Business Manager to Group Business Manager to her current role.

With over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and customer relationship management, Elvie is passionately persistent in exploring new opportunities and tackling challenges.

Karen assumes the dual roles of Regional Director for Business Development and Sales Excellence, steering business expansion and providing sales excellence leadership. Boasting over a decade of industry experience spanning healthcare, FMCG, and consumer loyalty sectors, she possesses a versatile skill set encompassing new business development, team leadership, and commercial management.

Her career highlights include serving as a Country Head in Malaysia and later as Regional Business Development Lead for a digital startup, where she played a role in propelling the growth of a leading medical education and knowledge-sharing platform. Furthermore, her roles as a commercial leader in healthcare-focused firms underscore her expertise in market management.

Karen’s extensive experience across diverse industry segments enhances her strategic acumen. With qualifications in Bachelor of Laws and Certificate of Legal Practice, she consistently contributes to the industry through a unique blend of leadership, innovation, and customer-centric focus.

Tetsuya Hamaki is the Director, Regional Editorial Operations & Delivery, Drug Listing & Clinical Decision Solutions of MIMS Group, and he is responsible for the organization’s operation and delivery functions of several business and also business intelligence function in the group.

Tetsuya started his career at IBM Business Consulting Services KK in Japan as an business consultant responsible for many projects with major Japanese companies mainly in retail, energy, finance industry.

In 2008, Tetsuya joined SMS Co. Ltd where he played a wide range of roles including leading investor-relations team when the company went public, carrying out major update of commercial website of the company involving 70 man-months development as a project manager, directing a subsidiary running nursing-care business. He participated a project of MIMS acquisition as a key member of business due diligence team and later joined the MIMS Group

Tetsuya holds a Master Degree in Engineering of Aeronautics and Astronautics from University of Tokyo, Japan.

Nigel leads the Client Services and Project Delivery teams for Singapore and Malaysia, for medical communications and the MIMS marketing platform. His key role is to ensure client service excellence across projects ranging from publications, events and digital projects.

Nigel has gained health communications experience across 3 APAC markets, having worked both with big pharma and global health communication agencies. His area of expertise is in brand strategy, multi-channel marketing, creative communications across various health communication verticals ranging from HCP, Consumer, OTC, DTP, Public Health and Publications.

His experience in communications has also given him a deep understanding on Consumer and HCP behaviors, developing targeted messaging strategy and in optimising the offline and online communication solutions for health brands.

Kennesri has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a backrgound in Public Relations and Sales Management. She has close to 20 years’ experience in managerial roles across multiple industries – including real estate, automotive and hotel management – prior to venituring into the healthcare industry. Kennesri has been instrumental in developing new strategies for Melorita Healthcare, resulting in quicker processing of candidates and envisioning the onbording process. She was promoted to the role of Director in 2018.
