Effective 1 April 2024, MIMS acquires 100% of the shares of SMS Philippines Healthcare Solutions Inc from SMS Asia. This acquisition was part of an internal reorganization within the SMS Group, as both MIMS and SMS Asia are subsidiaries of the SMS Group, rather than an external acquisition.
SMS Philippines Healthcare Solutions Inc is based in Manila and serves clients such as major consumer goods companies and over-the-counter pharmaceutical companies, providing specialized advertising and marketing services in the healthcare sector. After integration into MIMS, there is potential for mutual synergy between MIMS’ network of doctors and the marketing strategies held by SMS Philippines Healthcare Solutions Inc.
Following the change in ownership to MIMS, Yuji Doi will continue to serve as President of SMS Philippines Healthcare Solutions Inc, ensuring continuity in operations.
