MIMS, the region’s leading healthcare data & medical knowledge provider, has partnered with Assurance Technology to improve patient safety with the integration of optimised medication features into Clinic Assist software.
With this partnership, the MIMS Integrated Clinical Decision Support Modules (CDSM) will be part of the medication management function in the Clinic Assist software. The new addition of MIMS Integrated CDSM will help to reduce medication errors by automatically alerting doctors of potential drug-drug interactions, drug allergies, drug duplications, and drug contraindications. This will significantly streamline the prescription process and improve drug safety.
The Clinic Assist software, developed by Assurance Technology, is a comprehensive clinic management solution that comprises of practice management as well as electronic medical records function to support clinic operation, management, clinical documentation and compliance – ICD, SNOMED, LOINC. The software automates clinical activities such as patient care, appointment scheduling, billing, claims processing, as well as digital documentation, storage and retrieval of patient medical records.
The Clinic Assist software is designed with an intuitive user-interface, which has been largely popular with private and public healthcare service providers such as General Practitioner (GP) & Specialist clinics, Dental clinics and Family Medicine clinics.
The partnership hopes to reach up to 1000 clinics across Singapore over the next two years.
